1.	Application: The Mercosur air pass is valid for journeys in the economy class within the member countries of the Mercosur (Mercado Común del Sur): Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile on flights of the airlines VARIG (RG), Rio Sul (SL), Nordeste (JH), Transbrasil (TR), VASP (VP), Aerolineas Argentinas (AR), Austral (AU), Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas (MJ), Pluna (PU) and Lan Chile (LA). At least 2 countries must be visited and a minimum of 1200 miles be flown.
2.	Sales: The Mercosur Airpass can be bought only outside of South America by persons, who have a return flight document from outside of South America to one of the countries specified under §1. Only one Mercosur Airpass per return flight ticket may be issued.
3.	Fare: when flying a total of	the fare of the Mercosur Airpass is:

4.	Children: under 2 years pay 10% and from 2 to 11 years pay 67%.
5.	Validity: The Mercosur Airpass can be applied during the whole year. The last flight may take place not earlier than 7 days after the start of the flights with the Airpass (minimum stay). The maximum validity is 30 days.
6.	Stops and Transfers: In addition to the airport where the Mercosur Airpass starts a maximum of 2 stops per country are permitted. 3 stops are permitted, if Iguaçu (IGU/IGR) is contained. The Mercosur Airpass may include a maximum of 4 coupons per country (5, if Iguaçu is contained). The Mercosur Airpass may include a maximum of 8 coupons (9, if Iguaçu is contained). The journey can begin at any City within the four countries served by one of the airlines shown above.
7.	Reservation/payment: Reservation and payment must take place at the same time.
8.	Changes: Changes of reservation are allowed. Reroutings are not permitted
9.	Refund: Before the start of the journey a full refund can be made. After the start of the journey the difference between the full economy fare of the strech flown and the payed amount can be refunded.
10.	Luggage: It applies the same maximum luggage rule as in the international flight ticket to one of the four countries.
